About Me

Thanks for stopping by! Read below to learn more about myself and my background.

Me at high school graduation

Background

Hi! My name is Diego Temkin, and I'm from a region called the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, right up along the US-Mexico border. My parents both immigrated to the US from Mexico.

I attended the South Texas ISD Science Academy, a STEM magnet school in the region. I participated in a variety of science and engineering related extracurriculars, while ensuring I always took a challenging courseload. Furthermore, I maintained a job tutoring children from all grades in mathematics, even virtually throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, at MIT, I've engaged in a variety of activities and projects, ranging from personal fun projects (like this website!) to research through funded labs. I hope this site can serve as a catalog of everything I've done and continue to do, and will operate far into the future, no matter where life takes me :)
